How To Use The Catalog

 The Philanthropy Catalog is designed to:

  • Provide you with information about non-profit organizations and charitable programs in the Lehigh Valley
    • Click on an area of interest or service (The Arts, Education, etc.) and review the non-profit organizations listed
    • Learn more about the non-profits in the descriptions shown

  • Connect you with non-profit organizations you may wish to support
    • Click on a specific non-profit name to be linked to the organization’s website for more detailed information
    • Contact staff members at the organization to arrange a visit or to ask questions about programs and services offered

  • Assist you in making charitable gifts easily and effectively
    • Review the guidelines for giving in “Giving Easily, Giving Effectively”
    • Contact charity oversight organizations for additional information about the rankings given to some non-profits

  • Provide you with information about a broad range of charitable gifts and plans
    • Review the descriptions of planned giving opportunities
    • Discuss your intended giving with professional advisors such as an attorney, accountant, or financial planner
    • Call the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation (610-266-4284) for more information about establishing charitable funds with current gifts or planned gifts

  • Provide information about philanthropy beyond the Lehigh Valley
    • Review the sample list of non-profit organizations that provide assistance and services in other nations
    • Contact the organizations for additional or more detailed information

The Philanthropy Catalog is intended to provide a broad spectrum of charitable opportunities,
